Maria is a woman.  She cannot speak English, so she brought her daughter to translate.  She was diagnosed with Lupus.  Rowen injects Procaine into one of her teeth, and Maria’s hand pain reduces dramatically. They don’t say anything in the video about whether this helped her with Lupus or not.
